This is part 1 of a 17 minute improvisational session in the Papabubble basement on May 3rd, 2012 with Elliot Kurtz (Drums) and Willy Muse (Organ, Vocals). I only chopped it up to make two tracks for size and time reasons; nothing was cut out.
Phone ring from 8:20 to 8:44 but I've reduced the volume a bit so it isn't so loud and annoying. Blame Alex LaLiberte for that one.
lyrics
My eyes have opened from inside
You will see
All of those terrible things
My mouth has opened from inside
You will see
All of those terrible things
This siren's kiss
Will be the death of my enemies
They'll see what you've done to me
Just what you've done to me
This tripped over line
That you've torn between
The light inside
It's just the same thing
Take care of your hands
No no no no no
Keep your hands on me
You'll see it'll come to you
Where you've been and where you plan to be
My eyes have opened from inside
You will see
I sat beside
I saw inside
It was not what you'd think
Things were all what they'd seem
But I won't mutter what we left behind
What love is
Cause it's nothing but
A separate sign
A feeling of a time you thought you knew
These bottles lie empty
Ripe for what we live to love
To be alone
To be alone
To be alone
Like a forest fire
You spread those
Those feelings you knew
Wouldn't be loved
Couldn't be loved for
